Outstanding location by the lake. The rooms were spacious particularly the bathroom. Staff were superb always willing to help. Their restaurant is a little expensive but the food was very good. They have standard American or Indonesian breakfast. The breakfast helpings are more than enough for one person. All rooms have a balcony. Sitting out is nice. They have activities to do. The Ulun Danu Beratan is a 5 mins drive from this place, a 15 mins walk. There is a cafe right opposite to the hotel where there are cheaper but equally good food options.

Room very dirty room on arrival (like ants in the bathroom, stains in duvet, dirty floor) - breakfast meal and time to be chosen at check in. We had to ask for an extra clean and still the walls were having marks of food… we stopped only one night and the staff made their best to accommodate our requests but would not recommend sleeping here at all.

Cute little cabins right across from the lake. The rooms were clean and cozy with a TV, kettle, hot water, and extra pillows. The staff were friendly and very helpful in sorting out tours, cars, bike rentals etc. They had bikes that my daughter could ride around the property which was nice.

The entire location is a fairy tale. It takes you straight into a Balinese story, crafter with care by Nyoman. Everything was covered in nature with an amazing view over the rice fields. The food from the restaurant was delicious, there is a massage place, gym and an infinity pool.

With amazing weather and multiple picturesque locations in and around, Bedugul is a must visit for people looking to explore the REAL Bali.
I have been to Bali twice and find Kuta/Seminyak/Nusa Dua and the other most frequented places to be too touristy and commercial. You will enjoy every bit of the humble hospitality that the Balinese have to offer when you explore the unexplored!
The locals treat you like royalty and are the most polite of indigenous population I have come across throughout my little travel across the world

bedugul has limited offerings. good passing thru spot. the temple is disappointing and the market has quite a lot of possible purchases but the shop owners are very pushy.
the botanical gardens and the lovely garden centre lined street leading up are worth a wander.

Bedugul is great for a day time trip to see the temple and lakes, for a few hours. Some nice warungs with cheap and tasty food. Wouldn’t recommend staying overnight in bedugul though, especially if you don’t have a motorbike/car yourself.

Great place, quiet, relaxed, cool (1200 - 1500 m), Botanic Gardens are spectacular cloud forrest, view and food from Danau Restaurant, the Temple at Lake Bratan (opposite Danau Restaurant), Temple at Lake Tampingan, strawberries and boiled peanuts at the markets, fire, view, gardens and meals at Warung Restreasi, highly recommend a few days at Bedugul.

The location is perfect, with nearby lakes and the beautiful botanical garden.
This stay offers a refreshing change from traditional hotels, with its original concept, fantastic host, and great location.
Everything was awesome, friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms, good food at the restaurant. As location is very close to many points of interest in Bedugul like Handara Gate, Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, Selfie points, waterfalls they can help with renting a scooter at a fair price, with pickup and delivery at the location.
We also met Chris, the manager, an awesome person which helped us with the transfers to and from the location and with the scooter rental.
we LOVED and enjoyed our stay at the villa! everything was amazing, the villa was cozy and beautiful, the weather was just perfect. Pak Putu was really welcoming and helpful, he was always ready when needed. we loved the fireplace, it was beautiful and the pool table where I spent the last night playing with my husband and son while enjoying the fireplace. overall it was such a perfect getaway for my family and we will definitely be coming back!
Everything was absolutely amazing. The staff were so nice and helpful, the food was magnificent. The heated pool is so fun to swim in as the weather can be a bit chilly.
The room is clean and well built, with an amazing view of the green mountains. The location is next to some beautiful waterfalls that one can be reached by foot.
The best hotel we stayed in Bali (yet).
This place was one of the best on my tour of Bali. The views are spectacular with a good sized room with fan (no AC, don't need it as it gets quite cold) and big bathroom and a swimming pool that has stunning scenery of mountains and rice terraces. There's even a gym and can have massages there and a very cute dog and cat (which was in a cage sadly B-C).
The breakfast was great, both that delivered to our room and the one served on the rooftop. The location was wonderful too. Easy to walk to the temple, lake and restaurants. The hotel also arranged a driver to take us to play golf at Handarra and also to visit the botanical gardens. We would definitely stay here again.

Completely surprised us. The online photos do not do it justice. Opened in April 23, educational concept and gardens, villas super clean and very modern. As a base to explore Bedugul excellent location. We used it as a base to climb Gunung Catur and visit Pura Pucak Mangu, the northern guardian temple.
The rooms were very clean and big. The bed was comfortable. Outdoors shower was a nice touch. Fridge is the room. Fan working like crazy, even dried our clothes.
The breakfast was really good for "free" hotel breakfast, which was a lovely surprise.
The staff and the owner were very nice.
The pictures and price fooled me into thinking this hotel was going to be a bit more of a treat, but its value didn't go beyond a homestay a third of the price. The outdoor areas are designed very well, almost like a garden among the bungalows, but the room didn't live up to it.
The layout, the espresso machine, the owner, the building, the town. All nice. I extended my stay because I was having a good time. I'm telling everyone to make sure they go to Bedugul and stay here.
This hotel is amazing for a good rest. Staff was very friendly. It was clean. Breakfast was good with many options. The connecting rooms are very nice when you travel with kids. Ask for it!
It was so good to be here.
All facilities are being managed well,
and the host is super-kind.
If i visit Bedugul again, its because of the hostel.
Thank the host for everything.
So many areas to comfortably relax, really spacious. Loved the snuggle blankets which even in January we used. I’d imagine Bedugul would be cold in winter. Good view.
Amazing room with Lake view and surrounded by flowers. The bathroom is simple (this is no luxury hotel) but more clean than a 5 Star hotel we have been 2 days before.
Great location in north bali nature. Great staff. good food available in the hotel. The place very good to relax and enjoy the nature and the sound of the nature
